 We do believe that winter is just around the corner. Not that it hasn't been a little cold lately, but are we going to get snow? We hope everyone had a very merry Christmas and we are looking forward to a wonderful and prosperous New Year of 2012.

There is nothing to report from the Altus Twirlers as far as recent dances only because we haven't had any. However, we are looking forward to starting the year off with a bang as Scott Bennett from Lawton will be calling our January dance. It will be on the fourth Saturday, January 28th at the Altus Community Center on Falcon Road. We are anticipating a great crowd so come on down and bring your new graduates along with you. We would love to dance with them and show them what a fun club the Altus Twirlers are.

We would like everyone to keep Patsy and Arnold Goucher in your prayers. As of today Patsy has two more treatments but they have made her very weak and she is having trouble keeping her balance. Our thoughts and prayers go out to them as well as to all our other square dance friends who are ill, recovering from surgeries, taking cancer treatments, and who just not feeling up to par. We miss you all.
