Our dance on the 12th of March was short
one couple of having 4 squares on the floor. Thomas was puny and we did
not want to share his bug so we took the food up early and missed a very
good dance I am told. Don Main was out caller and he did his usual
masterful job and we want to thank Bonnie Main for taking care of the
floor for us. You two are worth more than your weight in gold. We are
blessed to have you!
A big round of applause goes out to our own Antelope
Hills Club members, who though short on numbers, gladly work hard and cook
very well for our guests. It was a very busy night and the winner of the
honey pot escapes us. They know who they are and now do not have to worry
about being asked for a loan. The door prizes were won by Martha Thurman
and Peggy Frick from the Perryton Promenaders and were provided by Bob
Rogers. The ladies took home some lovely shamrocks!
Our guests were from the Hub City Squares, Red Carpet
Squares, Western Swing, Altus Twirlers, Perryton Promenaders, Hydro
Hi-Steppers and our own Antelope Hills . Thank you each and every one for
coming and hope to see you back on April 9th. It was so good to have
former members Don and Peggy Johnson visit and Claude and Georgie Sadler's
son David and wife Charlotte. Y'all come back soon!
Our April 9th dance will be called by Don Main so you
know it will be so much fun! Come dance with us; you know we have a great
dance floor and the crockpots, coffee and tea will be brewing!
Happy to report the missing person's report was a
suc-cess and Bob was found! Our thoughts and prayers are with all of you
who may be ill or hurting and may peace be with you.
Reporting all the news that is the news, Jody
