Hub City Squares
Caller Freddie McKee and his wife Gail came from Amarillo, TX. to call the
St Patrick’s Day Dance for the Hub City Squares.
The Irish say Ireland has 40 shades of green, and Hub City must have
decorated for the dance with all 40 shades. Lighted shamrocks, beads,
leprechauns, center-pieces, food, and apparel made for a festive occasion.
Ken and Neola Stephens and Rex and Claudia Eagan hosted the dance.
Art Fanshier and Don Knight won the door prizes.
Guests attending were from the Western Swing, Hydro Hi-Steppers, and
Circle 8 Clubs.
Everyone was thrilled about the news announce-ment that Gerald Sherrill
and Ann Passmore are getting married April 10th. We are all so happy for
them.
We were very thankful to have Kelvin & Kay Casebeer back dancing.
Kelvin came through the surgery well and is feeling fine. Pat Meason told
me she has one more chemo treatment. We know she will be so glad to have
that over, and we will be glad for her. Pat Goucher’s mother is not well
and Vernon and Lois’s great grand-daughter is having brain and spinal
surgery. Doyle Bur-rows is home. He needs more recovery time, but I know
he is glad to be in his own residence. Caregivers need prayer too. They
need extra strength when loved ones are ill. I know there are more needs,
so let us keep them all in our prayers.
Jimmy and Jo Gouge from Amarillo will be calling the April 10th dance.
Come join us for a good time!
Rex and Claudia Eagan
