RED CARPET SQUARES

Here we are at the end of a great square dancing year. The club held its annual election of officers for 2012 at the annual Christmas Party on December 13th and Jack and Peggy Norman are once again our fearless leaders. The list of new officers is included in the minutes and treasurer's report below. The Christmas party was loads of fun with Don Main doing the annual Lefty-Right gift exchange. Lots of goodies and special items moved in a big circle back and forth as Don read the story. It was a little challenging for those of us who don't know right from left but every gift found a home! The food was delicious with 2 tables loaded with festive foods and desserts! Thanks to all the great cooks who made it possible. The evening closed with the group singing Christmas carols in the circle. Rod and Lois had printed out copies of our favorite songs and boy, we sounded good. It always helps when you have some first class musician's involved! So Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to you all.
