      Happy 4^th of July!!                                                                      Happy Birthday America!!

By the time you read this, we will be finding out within days (or maybe already know) whether the 2012 Nationals will be in Oklahoma City!!  If they are, many of you will be asked to do a job  to help make them a success, we hope you will consider helping.  If everyone helps, everything goes smoother and we all get to enjoy the convention.

We hope that ticket sales are going well for everyone!  Remember this is a great way to support your club, as well as our district.  Another way to support your club is to sell ads for the program book.  These ad sales are due in earlier than the ticket sales.  The ads  can be sent to us and are due by August 15, so we can get them into the program book chairman by the due date. Please remember that all ads must be paid before they will be submitted for printing.

There are no officer’s visitations in July or August, but we hope everyone is planning to attend lots of dances in our district this summer.  As vacations take some dancers off to other areas, travel during the summer months is even more important to our district’s club dances. 

The Rt. 66 Jamboree is approaching quite quickly, July 11 & 12, and we hope everyone is planning to attend and enjoy the variety of callers that are scheduled!
