President’s Message
Happy New Year Everyone
Well, the holidays are over and now we get to put everything away and get
back to normal, whatever that is. We get to reflect on what went well and what
went otherwise. We get to put the holiday decorations back and debate over
whether or not we should exchange some of our gifts. We get to smile when
remembering our children, especially the little ones and we get to be grateful
for all of our blessings, even the challenging ones.
Ray and I hope everyone had a joyous and happy holiday and we wish everyone a
Blessed New Year. We thank each and every one of you who have put your trust in
us to serve as your district president this year.
Our thanks go to everyone who has volunteered to serve as district officers and
appointees. We look forward to lots of dancing, friendship and laughter. I hope
all the district ladies have placed their orders for the district dress by now.
Anyone having difficulties, please contact us.
Also, the positions for Historian and Publicity are still open. Regarding the
Publicity position, Mike and Myrna Perkins did a great job by changing the bulky
wooden display for a lighter and easier to handle new display panel made of
metal and with a handle for easy transport. Mike and Myra donated their time and
money to this project. Please don't let their efforts go to waste. Anyone
willing to help out, please let us know.
One final and important note, please keep Arnold and Pat Goucher in your prayers
as Pat's cancer has returned.
Again, thanks for your support and let's dance.
